We are an established, multiline; cotemporary fashion showroom based in Manhattan looking for a strong sales account executive to join our team!
Majority of our collections are from the UK and have a loyal following with our customers. Some of the stores we sell to include: Barneys, Lisa Kline, Madison, Atrium and Akiba.
We are seeking enthusiastic results driven, consistent individuals who are proactive, think outside the box and have a strong understanding about excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
* Sell our wholesale collection to specialty boutiques, online and department stores
* Solicit orders from new prospective retailers
* Management of sales reps and showroom
* Road work, sales appointments and presentations
* Co-ordination and attendance at trade shows in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in wholesale sales
* Current working relationship specialty boutiques and data base
* Strong fashion sense and eye for merchandise
* Belief in the products and ability to maintain enthusiasm
* Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
* Self-motivated with good follow-through skills
* Knowledge of fashion industry trends and manufacturer`s competitors
* Basic QuickBooks, Excel, MS work, PowerPoint
* Experience with department stores is an advantage
* Languages other than English an advantage
